The historic Water Tower is a spectacular attraction of the Margaret Island, rising above the crowns of the massive trees in the court of the Open-air Theatre. Open from June until the end of September, daily: 11am–10pm. On performance days, between 7pm–11pm only the audience of the theatre may visit the Water Tower, with presenting a valid ticket.

There is some truth in the stories about the caves in the Buda Castle: tunnels were really used by the military during the period of the Cold War. However, while the origin of the labyrinths is less dramatic, they were shaped by forces of nature.
