A Hungarian love story called "On Body and Soul" about two lonely hearts working in a slaughterhouse in Budapest won the Golden Bear for best film on Saturday at the 67th Berlin International Film Festival.

Parliament approved changes to the film production laws yesterday in order to tax foreigners working on movies made in Hungary and to enlarge the National Film Fund.

Sziget Festival has reached a new milestone by selling out all of the 7 Days Passes before July. The Island of Freedom will also set a new record in the number of nationalities represented at the event, as presales ticket buyers come from a total of 102 countries. Important hint for late-buyers: day tickets are still available, but make sure you decide quickly!
Whisky Robber Shooting Begins

Director Nimród Antal will begin shooting a feature film on Attila Ambrus, who has come to be known as the whisky robber, on June 11. The Hungarian National Film Fund will subsidise the film to the tune of Ft 1.1 billion. It will be shot in 130 locations for seventy days but does not yet have a title.
