Hungarian news site 444.hu published an article Thursday entitled “The Top Ten Most Outrageous Things Financed in the 2017 Budget. While one can certainly argue that ridiculous (and superfluous) things are financed by states around the world, it is worth pointing out here that 444‘s list looks especially outrageous when one considers the dismal state of education and health-care.

Hungary’s interior ministry would like to create a central facial database containing a photograph of all Hungarian citizens, reports daily online newspaper Napi.hu.
