Restaurant Review: Nu Bistro - Ambient Oasis In Middle Of Budapest
- 7 Mar 2016 8:00 AM
- food & drink
Nu Bistro is very well located next door to Nyugati railway station, it is the first venue on the left as you go downstairs into Eiffel Square. The restaurant has a fantastic hip feel to it, subdued lighting and lounge music help to make you forget the hustle and bustle of the city around you, and put you into a better state of mind

I have never been to any AYCE Italian eateries before, and so probably like you I was really curious to see how pizza, pasta, and other typical Italian dishes would fit into the all you can eat concept. This unique place in Hungary is located very close to Nyugati station on the corner of Podmanczki and Jokai u. which is a very central location. Walking distance to most bars, clubs and about a ...
Restaurant Review: Hachapuri Dishes Up Fine Dining Georgian Style In Budapest
- 25 Feb 2016 12:40 AM
- food & drink
Georgian cuisine was recently rated the 4th best in Europe by thrillist.com, making me exited to try it in the heart of Budapest. As I hadn't tried Georgian food before, I was extremely curious to see how it compares to local Hungarian cuisine, and if there are any similarities, or not, in taste and presentation.
Restaurant Review: Costes Downtown Business Lunch

Just like you, most probably, I find some high-end restaurants a tad stuffy sometimes. You know when you’re not sure whether to have the sparkling or still water without upsetting the waiter. Well rest assured the staff at the sister restaurant of the Costes are very easy-going, as well as knowledgeable and prompt, and thankfully the food lives up to the Michelin-starred rating.
Restaurant Review: Le Petit Bistrot Budapest
- 19 Feb 2016 2:50 AM
- food & drink
It feels like you are standing in one of the many small bistros and restaurants along the Rue Lepic in the Parisian district 18, Montmartre: waitresses in pink aprons, lace tablecloths and wrought-iron frames for the doors and windows transform the restaurant on the corner of Hajós and Dessewffy streets into a French fairyland. You can unwind here in a really delightful way with a baguette ...

Tucked away on a side street off Andrássy Avenue near Heroes' Square is one of the last bastions of real Hungarian taste, with real Hungarian portions, just like the old days.
Restaurant Review: Ecke 22 Etterem, A Humble Hungarian Hero

Tucked away on a side street off Andrássy Avenue near Heroes' Square is one of the last bastions of real Hungarian taste, with real Hungarian portions, just like the old days. The restaurant is cosy with a cave-like interior, and relaxed outdoor terrace from where you can watch the world go by - when the weather permits. The service is warm and friendly, there's a wide range of dishes, and a fair ...
