Originally from Pakistan, but born in Kuwait, his family settled in Great Britain. Allen Diwan came to Hungary as a Medical student in December1998, and had a complete change of route when half way through his medicine course.

Environmental activist and facilitator, writer and translator, Daniel Swartz has lived in Hungary since 1990. He studied international relations, history, and Chinese Language at Bates College in the United States. Since 1990, he has been working for and with Central and Eastern European environmental NGOs, local and national governments, and businesses on various environmental issues.
Rudas Baths

The baths is believed to have been built in the 1550s and rebuilt by Pasha Sokol Mustafa in 1566. At that time it was called `Green Columned Baths`. The centre of the present Rudas Baths, the Turkish bath, was formed during the Turkish occupation. It has an octagonal pool under a 10m-span dome supported by eight columns and surrounded by a barrel-vaulted corridor.
