Five stages, 854 kilometres, almost 8,000 metres of climbing, 10 categorised climbs, two bunch sprints and two iconic summit finishes await the participants of the 45th Tour de Hongrie. The official route of Hungary’s biggest cycling race was presented on 5 March at Budapest Music Center with live national TV coverage.

Gül Baba was an Ottoman-Turkish soldier-monk, that is a dervish, who arrived to Buda in the middle of the 16th century and he was buried outside the city limits of then where his honorary monument is also situated.

he Gellért Campus, home to the most sustainable higher education building in the country, was inaugurated in Újbuda. The community-designed Buda campus, which can accommodate 680 students, will offer the university community collaborative teaching spaces, a four-storey dormitory, a sports centre and a park.
