EIT Healthʼs Joint Grand Final for startups took place in Budapest on November 16, with 40 finalists and 22 top winners, who received a total of EUR 200,000 for their developments in the areas of healthcare, raw materials, and food, according to a press release.
Govt To Spend HUF 235Bn On Budapest Hospital Developments

The government has allocated around 235 billion forints (EUR 754.6m) towards hospital developments and upgrades planned in Budapest, the government commissioner for hospital developments told daily Magyar Idők on Saturday. The funds have been earmarked for the first phase of developments, which are scheduled to start at the beginning of next year at the latest, Péter Cserháti said.
