Késői Szüret (Late Harvest) productions was established in 2005 by Sebestyén Nagy and Gábor Tóth with the goal of popularizing (mostly Hungarian) quality wines. In November 2005 an eponymous program was launched on radiocafé 98.6 (currently on RadioQ 99.5 Wednesday evenings 20:00-21:00) on which wines are tasted and discussed by our two anchors, Sára Megyeri and Sebestyén Nagy.

Hungary Prepares For Good Grape Harvest Season

Hungary’s grape harvest is expected to be about the same as last year’s, the chairman of vintners association HNT said on public radio. Tamás Tornai told Kossuth Rádió that a closer estimate could be made early next week. Most of Hungary’s winegrowing regions will produce more grapes this year, with the exceptions of Tokaj and Kunság, Tornai said.
