The 32nd Hungarian Grand takes place at Hungaroring near Budapest over the weekend of July 27th to July 30th in 2017. This year everybody holding a valid Grand Prix ticket will be able to attend on Thursday, July 27th from 17:00 to 19:00 o'clock. more »
Olympic Champion Hosszú Announces Founding Of Global Association Of Professional Swimmers
Three-time Olympic champion swimmer Katinka Hosszú announced on Tuesday the founding of a new international swimming body, the Global Association of Professional Swimmers (GAPS), which is being set up with the participation of 30 swimmers, including 15 Olympic champions, with a view to counterbalancing “chaos” in the international swimming association FINA. more »

Organizers decided – The 35th Lidl Balaton Cross Swimming is going to be held on Sunday, July 9th. The Hungarian Meteorological Service (OMSZ) forecasted almost ideal weather for Sunday. The expected water temperature is around 25-26 degree Celsius . Beacuse of the uncertain weather forecast for the afternoon, the starting period is from 7:30 only to 12:00. MLSZ Releases NB I Football League Fixtures For Next Season
MLSZ’s Competitions Committee has released the fixtures for the OTP Bank Liga 2017/18 season which will start on 15th July, having made the draw last week. Three teams are starting the new campaign in temporary homes – Diosgyőr at Debrecen, Vasas at Újpest and Videoton at Puskás Akadémia – due to ongoing renovations at their own stadia, so the Competitions Committee took into account these clubs’ additional requests which included more away fixtures in the first half of the season. more »
