'Florilegium', Uránia National Cinema Budapest, 4 April
"Founded in 1991, Florilegium is one of the best known English, early music ensembles. Between 1998 and 2000 they were Ensemble in Residence at London’s Wigmore Hall and currently are Ensemble in Association at the Royal College of Music.

In that connection each year the students of the Historical Performance Department have the opportunity to be included in the ensemble’s work. Florilegium have given concerts all over the world and are regular guests at top international festivals.

The ensemble’s repertoire ranges from 17th and 18th century orchestral to chamber music pieces, from concertos to oratorios and passions. During the 2008–2009 season they toured France with Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos and orchestral suites, and performed the Musikalisches Opfer at the Wigmore Hall. In the Haydn anniversary year they received several invitations for concerts in Britain and Europe.

This year, which marks the 300th anniversary of Pergolesi’s birth, they are performing in Britain, Spain, Austria, Italy, Germany and Hungary."
