Hungary's MOL To Hike Fuel Prices This Week
"Hungarian fuels group MOL will raise the price of gasoline and diesel by HUF 4 and HUF 6 per litre, respectively on Thursday, Portfolio.hu has learned on Tuesday. The company’s move is no surprise, considering the increase in fuel rates over the past week.

MOL will increase the gross wholesale list price of both gasoline and diesel by HUF 4 and HUF 6 per litre, respectively on Thursday (8 April). As a result retailers will pay HUF 320.5 per litre for gasoline and HUF 296.9 per litre for diesel based on MOL list prices.

Although each petrol station has its own pricing model, drivers should expect to pay about HUF 4-6 more per litre for these fuel types at the pumps - HUF 337-338 for gasoline and HUF 312-313 for a litre of diesel oil.

MOL's move comes as no surprise, considering that gasoline rates rose by 4.7% in USD and 3.8% in HUF last week (by the end of Friday, as the forint has firmed some vs. the greenback to around 196.6 from 198.1) and diesel rates went up by 6.9% in USD and 6.1% in HUF terms."
