In the morning mainly schools and community programs are scheduled but in the afternoon the establishment is open for the public. There is a wide range of activities present at BNV from the evergreen ice-skating through the adrenalin-bomb ice hokey to the more unfamiliar curling.

The place is inadequate for regular ice hokey matches because of the 5 columns that cut the rink into two but the establishment is well equipped to house different smaller-scale plays.

Opening time is generous from 2pm to9 pm on weekdays and nearly the whole day at weekends. The entrance fee is 990 Ft and the entrance is through Hungexpo gate II.
