Policeman In Budapest Accused Of Blackmailing Student
"A 14th District policeman was arrested Sunday on suspicion of blackmailing a high-school student, with the assistance of two colleagues. They allegedly forced the student to borrow Ft 300,000 from a loan shark to pay for drugs that they had sold to him.

The three policemen reportedly threatened the teenager with a knife and guns as they drove him around the city for hours in a police car as they attempted to force him to borrow Ft 300,000.

The boy finally received one day's delay, and used it to tell the headmaster of the school, who duly notified police authorities.

Budapest Police suspended the suspect and began proceedings against him. His lawyer argues that the policeman is innocent."
