Popular Expats Return to Play At Merlin on 17 November

"Madhouse Theatre Company are delighted to be reunited with the Merlin Theatre. Together they are reviving the hugely popular show by Marie Jones, Stones in His Pockets. The brilliantly written two-hander was a sell-out success when the guys first performed it at the Merlin several years ago. Mike Kelly and Matt Devere perform all fifteen parts in this tragicomic story of a Hollywood movie being shot in a small Irish village.
Through family and friends Mike and Matt have strong Kerry connections, which is where the play is set, so it has a particularly strong resonance for them.
The two actors play everything, from the leading lady right through to the young village boy who dreams of being „in the movies".
Director László Magács and Madhouse work together again on this multi-award winning classic.
