A Christmas Present For Hungarian Team Puli?
"The Google Lunar X Prize is offering the largest international incentive prize of all time: A total of $30 million in prizes are available to the first privately funded teams to safely land a robot on the surface of the Moon and have that robot travel 500 meters over the lunar surface and send images and data back to the Earth.

A Hungarian team, called Puli, is the only Hungarian Google Lunar X Prize applicant, and has been working on its unique rover designs since summer 2010. The current hurdle is to put 50,000 USD on the table – the entry fee of the competition.

Although most of the money is already secured, thanks to more than 300 private and several company sponsors, there is still a gap which Puli hopes to fill with the help of further donations via its Small Step Club.

You can become a member for as little as 1000 HUF – and building Puli’s virtual Launch Pad in cyberspace.

Puli blogs frequently and uses social media so surf on over to their site or visit the Facebook fan page and check them out."
