Visit By The Fellows Of The U.S. Embassy's At British Embassy In Budapest
"On 16 December, the British Embassy welcomed the participants of the US Embassy's "Professional Fellowship Program for Multiply-Disadvantaged People" for the second time in the year. As a result of the highly successful visit by the fellowship's previous participants, during which the fellows gain a better understanding on the work and duties of the diplomatic mission, the British Embassy was pleased to accept the U.S. embassy's request for another call by the new Roma students of the programme.

Balázs Horváth and János Szűcs visited the embassy's Press section, where they were briefed about the mission's media related tasks and responsibilities. Their tour then continued by a briefing at Corporate Services in order to help them understand the day-to-day operations of the management. Their next meeting was at the Consular Section during which Embassy colleagues explained the procedure of applying for a passport or a visa.

The fellows then had an informal conversation with members of the UK Trade and Investment Section (UKTI) and learnt more about bilateral trade and future trade related plans between the two countries.

The visit was concluded by a meeting with the Deputy Head of Mission, who informed them about her work and background, answered questions about bilateral relations and inquired about the fellows' programme and future goals."
