Szeged Contemporary Dance Company, National Dance Theater Budapest, 16 January
"The stories of the heroines of Greek dramas inspired the two artists in selecting the topic of the newest performance of the Szeged Contemporary Ballet. The characters from the works of Sophocles and Euripides will appear on the dance stage of the National Dance Theatre in the choreography of Portuguese choreographer Pedro Goucha Gomes, ex-dancer of the Netherlands Dance Theatre and Tamás Juronics, artistic leader of the company.

Revenge is the motive force behind the deeds and fates of Electra, Medea and Deianira, the heroine of the Women of Thrace. It is the psychological processes developing in them and their motivations that become the central topics of the pieces, which at the same time is an excellent opportunity for the dancers to shape exciting characters."
