Jam session hosts Bálint Bársony and Gábor Németh "Nemo" have invited some of the very best Hungarian performers. Launched in 2005, the series has notched up more than 130 concerts, with guests such as Charlie, Tamás Somló, Fecó Balázs, Mariann Falusi, Barna Pély, Péter Gerendás, Gabi and Vera Tóth and András Hajós.

For the 2011/2012 season, eight star guests have been invited to perform, and in November György Ferenczi joins the team. Young musicians will also be given an opportunity to jam with the band and to join in the performance of the Star Jam anthem.

Before and after the show, Tamás Bogyó, host of Radio Jazzy’s Soul Sessions, will perform a selection of rare musical gems.
