The Body Shop To Open In Budapest

The Body Shop is set to open its first store in Budapest on 3 April 2012 in Aréna Pláza, recently reported trademagazin.hu The British born brand - now owned by L'Oréal - is well known as the original, natural and ethical beauty brand. A second store opening in 2012 is also expected, currently The Body Shop products are available in Hungary at a stand in MOM Park Budapest in district XII.
Today the Body Shop has around 2,600 stores in 60+ countries worldwide, according to HVG.hu the company has entered into an exclusive representation in Hungary with Avanzo-Trade Kft. European product portfolio will be available in the store, meaning shoppers can choose from a total of 1200 products.
"We're excited for finally be opening our first brand store in Budapest. The preliminary feedback from a lot of people in Hungary is that this is a dream come true, no longer having to travel abroad for The Body Shop ® experience," said Zsuzsanna Banga , the marketing manager at Avanzo-Trade Kft.
