Invitation: Xpats Wanted By Ernst Museum Budapest
Established in 1912 the Ernst Museum, as an associate institution of the Kunsthalle, is well know as one of Budapest's most contemporary art centres. Celebrating it's centenary from May onwards, the Ernst Museum is offering various programmes including literacy events, concerts, films, a street festival and many different learning sessions within the gallery premises. Currently the museum is looking for volunteers and is asking, "Do you enjoy engaging with people? Are you fluent in different languages? Are you interested in arts? Would you like to get involved with a busy museum? Are you flexible? Would like to be the member of a proactive and creative team?

The most prominent exhibition of this year with an estimated 100.000 visitors is Faces and Masks that will feature the works of the most famous western artists born between 1912–2012, such as Egon SCHIELE, Marc CHAGALL, Francis BACON, Arnulf RAINER, Cindy SHERMAN,Andres SERRANO and others...

This special program will include several short training sessions to introduce the volunteers to the museum, it’s history and missions, as well as to assign the volunteers to the tasks they would like to implement most.

The aim of the program is not only to find forces to enrich the activities of the organization, but also to bring practical skills to the volunteers who are aspiring to have a career on the sphere of art and culture.

If you are interested to devote several hours per week for the public sake, or would like to develop presentational skills, or become a part of an enthusiastic team you are the one to apply for a position.”
