The Ambassador gave a statement to MTI that Jobbik opposes Israel, Jews, the Roma, Europe and democracy and it is regrettable that “in a democratic country like Hungary there are those who think and behave like that.

The Hungarian government fights against such extremist remarks but Jobbik has in the past made too many similar statements,” he said adding that ordinary people must say “enough is enough”.

Regarding that the parliamentary parties expressed their opposition to Baráth’s remarks, the Ambassador said that the democratic right and left-wing parties have done exactly what was expected of them, "No more, no less."
