By Sándor Götz: This ship has been planned for the demands of the 21st century, and has multy-functioning possibility and economical operating character—beside that the shipping has a cost like only some small part of road transportation (1/15)—as well as the comfort, the manoeuvring ability and the travelling speed of that can be competitive with all modern traffic vehicles driving in the heavy traffic around and inside the cities. It has a big advantage in spite of all, that in this case we have a new production technology using the up-to-date materials, and the delivery-chain method for the whole production and fitting technology.

The engine room of the ship is so planned, that has totally closed construction, and positioned under the water level in the floating bodies—but in spite of all it has very easy maintaining ability—and has “24-hours operation un-manned” possibility. Multy-functionality:

* Fast-postal and for small freight transport possibilities, or small containers, of 84 EU-palettes to carry.
* As a mixed passenger and freight carrier 60 prs+ 42 palettes can be transported, to serve the needs of agriculture.

All of these have high-speed cat-ships fitted by bow-thrusters, and have special syncronised/assyncrone rudder-blade system which give very high manoeuvrability for the ship. For the ships in case of CNG driving system rotating engines are fitted suitable for gas fuel, and in the case of LNG-driving—what is able to run very long distances—basically planned by a new developed driving machines, and the engine used for auxiliary purposes. The driving engines have an automatic function for the reverse driving.

The engine room gives totally un-manned operation. Needs only once a day inspection. For the captain all important gauges and signals are led to the bridge for any time control. The ships—as they are executed in catamaran construction—in both engine rooms, one engine for the driving and one for electricity supply. The power of the main operating installation can be changed in an interval of 550-850 KW, according to the demand of the customer, and naturally depends on the type as well.

Comfortability:
Ability for full year operation

The air-condition system has a temperature range from -25 up-to +35 C0 with mixed fresh –air. In the passenger deck and for the cock-pit there are toilets for the travellers. In the case of the longer travelling routes there is a version where double bed cabins are available for the passengers. During travelling all seats are applied by safety belts, and there are seats having WIFI networking connections for lap-tops.

The speed of the ships:

The speed can be reached dependently to the built-in engines between 40-70 Km/hour. The porting of the vehicle is solved not manually, but using an automatic fixing system to the port body, operated by telemetric solution. This can assure a very quick possibility for the cat, mainly on river solution, when want to swim opposite to the water flowing. In case of the freight and comby-versions the loading of the ship is done from rear side of the cat.

The engines—driving the ships and generating the electricity as well—using Liquid Gas fuel and that means they have not any emission effect, and they can get any international route cruising permission for any waterways. This fuel is comply any sever prescription, and gives good foot-prints for the application, and the mean time gives cost reduction for the owners of the cats.

The operating installation of the cat:

* The next items can support the working of the ship drivers,
* Joy-stick type manoeuvring system controlling for the driving engines, the bow-thrusters and rudder-blades in the different movements and in case of breaking.

The constructional system of the cats:

The system of the constructions are based on the application of the new materials, and technologies.

The floating bodies are constructed for high-tensile light-metal materials, in the way of cross-framed welded construction.

The floating bodies are closed types and inside the whole machinery is placed in insulated, water-tight, but well ventilated spaces.

The superstructures—passenger room and cock-pit—have been designed of in composite type contracture, and those have cross-framed with longitudinal girders, so giving a good rigid construction in spite of the low weights. There are used very large windows on the passenger and the cock-pit spaces, in the case of the passenger ships, and they have modern designs as well.

The inside covering of the ships have light-composite panels with textile-layers, and the insulation between the covering and the outside structure have a very good heat and noise insulation effect with flame-preventing ability together.

These kind of different ships are constructed according to the Germanischer Lloyd Rules and will be controlled like river and lake ships by the Hungarian National Transportation Society surveyors.

The cats are constructed on Hungary and will be produced here as well.
