Invitation: Opening Concert On Long Night Of The Museums, Budapest, 16 June
If you are interested in the synch created by the Budapest Festival Orchestra and you would like to be in a large-format picture we take of the audience, come to the Museum of Fine Arts at Hősök tere on Saturday, 16th June at 6pm sharp and listen to the BFO’s shortest concert ever – for free.

Don’t miss the world-famous Budapest Festival Orchestra conducted by Iván Fischer as they perform a 15-minute free symphonic concert on the stairs of the Museum of Fine Arts to officially open the 10th Night of the Museums on Saturday, 16 June at 6pm. Fittingly, they will perform the last two movements of the popular piece Pictures at an Exhibition by Mussorgsky.

Be together with the BFO on the stairs of the Museum of Fine Arts and be part of a unique, once-in-a-lifetime cultural and social experience! At the concert you can enjoy not just The Hut of Baba Yaga and The Great Gates of Kiev but in the meantime you can become part of a big group photo as, with the help of a special camera, a high-resolution photograph will be taken of the audience.

If you find yourself on the tableau that will be taken from the top of the stairs of the museum, you will not only have a souvenir of the event, but you may also win. The photo will be published on Facebook after the concert and those who recognize themselves in it, with a touch of luck, can win concert tickets for the Budapest Festival Orchestras performance in the following season and other valuable BFO-gifts.
