Consultations With Churches In Hungary

Church affairs state secretary Gyorgy Holvenyi called for furthering the dialogue on churches. Holvenyi, who was sworn in on Tuesday, stressed it should be made clear for society that the country's future depends in part on co-operation among churches, civil organisations and ethnic minorities.
Funding should be reviewed because of changed tax regulations and the coming transformation of the public education system, he added.
