Hungarian Government’s Response To Insulting Behaviour Of Fans At Football Match Between Israel & Hungary
The Hungarian government condemns in the strongest possible terms the insulting behaviour of certain Hungarian football fans during the friendly match between Israel and Hungary on 15 August.

The Government upholds, in every case and to the greatest degree possible, the constitutional rights granted to all by the New Fundamental Law, and therefore takes action to eliminate all forms of discrimination based on race, religion or nationality. The Government also speaks out against provocative or insulting actions which are not in direct violation of the law, and therefore not subject to immediate intervention from the authorities.

The Hungarian Government approaches all peoples of the world in a spirit of openness and peace, and requests the same from every Hungarian.
