Orbán, Fico Open Slovak Centre In Hungary
The opening of the Centre for Pilis Slovaks can be described as a national policy success for both Hungary and Slovakia, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán told reporters in Pilisszentkereszt on Tuesday alongside Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.

The centre was built through joint efforts of the two nations, Orbán said.

It is a forward-looking achievement, as “we know that there were difficulties and disputes” but the two peoples overcame these obstacles through joint efforts.

The Hungarian government strives to ensure that the Slovak minority feels at home in Hungary and would like to see the Hungarian minority in Slovakia feel the same, he stressed.

The two prime ministers held talks in Dobogókő before the ceremony.
