4th Hungarian Tastes Fair, Millenáris Budapest, 16 - 18 November
"November is here, the season of fresh sausage and chitterlings, but if you do not want to wait for these mouthwatering Hungarian specialities, you must visit the 4th Handmade Hungarian Tastes Fair. Visitors will have the chance to taste more than 100 different flavoured chitterlings, sausages, salamis and 30 different types of new wines between November 16 and 18, in Building B of the Millenaris Park in Budapest."

The Fair offers for tasting unique flavors such as the country sausage seasoned with rosemary, black pudding stuffed with dried plums, Bacska liverwurst made with grits or duck and goose sausages. Besides the novelties 120 Hungarian manufacturers shall expose so far unknown specialties of honeys, marmalades, fruits syrups, hams, cheeses, fruit spirits (Pálinka), spices and dairy products of the usual high standard and quality of the fair.

In addition to the jewels of the traditional Hungarian cuisine, entertainment will be offered: visitors can choose a program they prefer from the colorful selection while tasting the products. The organizers will not forget about the families attending the fair this year either: during the day the Alma Band (Saturday) and the Kolompos Band (Sunday) will be playing music for the children, while in the evening Balkán Fanatik Band (Friday) will assure the good atmosphere with a concert for adults. Besides the concerts there will be different programs on stage: making Santa-Claus shaped chocolate, extracting honey, preparing winter ice cream, and also a variety of professional discussions.

With the entrance ticket everyone will be invited to taste the new wine of 2012 as the first messenger of this year’s vintage and a welcome snack of sausage or chitterlings. Children under 12 are admitted free.
