Accountants In Hungary Question 19% Of Expenses
Accountants believe that 19% of total costs claimed by companies are questionable, according to a survey of 1,500 accountants. The study by chartered tax experts association Moklasz and training centre Penta Unió found that accountants felt they were aware of about 13% of all irregular invoices, the same figure as in 2011.

The proposed new small company tax “kiva” and self-employed business tax “kata” to be in effect from January 1 will help to improve taxpaying morale, said Moklasz president György Herich.

Some 80% of accountants provide tax advice to their clients, Herich added.
