Orbán, Hagi Kick-Off Tournament In Hungary
Romanian football great Gheorghe Hagi joined Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in launching the Puskás-Suzuki Cup, an international youth football tournament, at the Puskás Pancho Sport Pub in Budapest’s Third District yesterday.

Orbán told a press conference that every country takes on the character of its own youth, explaining why his cabinet treats sport in a preferential way.

Sports is an area where young people can set themselves goals pointing beyond themselves, and with courage, talent and perseverance, only the sky can be the limit for them, he observed.

Hagi, whose own footballing academy is participating in the tournament, said he is happy to see a prime minister who loves football so much, and expressed hope that Romania will follow suit.
