Invitation: Lebanese Based Artists, Budapest Art Factory, 29 May
Budapest Art Factory cordially invites you to a one-night show; Dressage by CHRIS ANTHEM, Lebanese based artists resided for a month at BAF as part of its residency program.

Wednesday May 29, in between 6 and 9pm

Chris Anthem, born in the UK in 1974, divides his time and practice between Cornwall in the UK and Beirut, Lebanon. He graduated in fine art from Liverpool Polytechnic and the Slade School of Art London (1993-1998). In 2008 he relocated to rural England in 2008, with subsequent exhibitions in London, Beirut and and Addis Ababa.

He is presently represented by Fadi Moghabghab Art Contemporain in Beirut and the Plumbline and Orchard Gallery in the UK. His work can be found in the collections of their excellencies the Al-Thani Family of Qatar and Byblos Bank, Lebanon. Current projects include development of Alia Artists Residence in the Chouf mountains of Lebanon as a destination for international artists, and collaborations with the post-punk band Scrambled Eggs.

Doors open at 6pm, followed by a panel discussion starting at 7pm.
