Budapest The 5th Cheapest City In The World - According To TripAdvisor
According the travel website TripAdvisor’s latest survey, Budapest is the 5th cheapest tourist destination in the world, considering the prices of hotel rooms, restaurants, taxis, and coctails.

Sofia, the Bulgarian capital proved itself to be the cheapest, where a 100 pounds is enough to spend a night in a four-star hotel, a short taxi ride, and a dinner for two including one cocktail each.

Budapest, the fifth least expensive city on the list with a total budget of 127 pounds, including the hotel, the taxi, and a restaurant meal. Only the taxi prices cost approximately twice as much in the Hungarian capital comparing to the cheapest Sofia.

Out of the ten most expensive cities, six is in Europe, while among the ten cheapest, four is in Asia. Dinner prices in Hanoi are being dwarfed by the prices in Oslo. Taxi rides strain the wallets the most in London, whereas in Kuala Lumpur they cost next to nothing.

Certainly, as any other surveys, this one is also quite subjective, as it was only based on four criterias, leaving out monuments, baths, or pool prices.
