Hungary's PM's Convoy Was Involved In An Accident In Romania
The convoy accompanying Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, on their way to the Balvanyos Summer University with Romanian police escort, suffered an accident on Friday afternoon between Kelementelke and Erdőszentgyörgy in Romania. The car carrying the Prime Minister was not involved in the accident.

The Press Chief to the Prime Minister, Bertalan Havasi, said the convoy was heading towards Tusnádfürdő when the unfortunate event occurred.

The Hungarian Consul General in Csíkszereda, his deputy and three persons from the Prime Minister’s Office were travelling in the car involved in the accident and were taken to hospital in Romania.

In view of the fact that the convoy was being escorted by the Romanian police and the investigation of the scene was also carried out by them, further information on what happened may be provided by Romanian Police Force, the Prime Minister’s Press Chief added.
