Updated: Heat-Wave To Hit Hungary
Due to the extreme heat, the weather service has issued a second-level, orange warning in the country until Saturday night. Warnings about expected thunderstorms and downpours in certain counties have been withdrawn. According to forecasts, temperatures will likely be between 30ºC and 35ºC during the afternoons and 21-27 ºC during the evenings.

Hot temperatures will continue to spread across Europe this week and Hungary doesn’t seem to avoid the heat wave either. Weather will gradually get warmer throughout the week and high temperatures are expected to reach 40°C by Sunday.

Dry and hot air results in lower rain chances, so one must be prepared for the desert-like weather by drinking plenty of water and wearing loose clothing.
