Budapest Mayor Tarlós Calls For Congestion Charge
A congestion fee will have to be introduced in Budapest sooner or later, as the EU continues to insist on it, mayor István Tarlós told Inforádió on Monday. The previous city leadership agreed to introduce the fee for vehicles entering the city centre as a condition for receiving EU funds for construction of the fourth metro line, he said.

Tarlós reiterated that he hopes the fourth metro line will be ready by late March.
