Jewish Summer Festival Opens In Budapest
The 16th Jewish Summer Festival opened at the National Gallery on Sunday afternoon, where Impressionist and Post-Impressionist masterpieces by Monet, Gauguin, Merse Szinyei, and Rippl-Rónai are on display. Some of the paintings are on loan from the Israel Museum in Jerusalem.

Joel Razbozov, chairman of the Israeli Parliament’s diaspora committee, recalled that no matter where Jewish and non-Jewish religious people live in the world, common historical roots unite them.

It is the feature of culture that creates the sense of solidarity across borders, connecting peoples and traditions, he remarked.
