The aim of the “Tourism Days” is to make the Central Market Hall and its touristic attractions popular. To provide a place for grand events and for countries to showcase their goods.

During the 3-day event, visitors can try out the mysterious henna tattooing, taste the deliciously sweet baklava, and experience the authentic atmosphere of a real bazaar. Also available is useful travel information.

Later in the year, visitors can look forward to “Turkish Days”, “Israeli Days”, “Korean Days”, “Czech Days”, “Chilean Days”, “Nepalese-Laotian-Cambodian Days”, as well as “Hungarian days”.

So as well as picking some local paprika and palinka, you could have ended up with a miniature sphinx under your arm.
