116-Kg WWII Bomb Found In Budapest
The main building of the capital’s St István-St László Hospitals was emptied and patients transferred to other departments on Thursday afternoon after a 116-kg WWII bomb was found near the facility near the city centre, the institute running the hospital complex told MTI. About 1,000 residents were evacuated from 500 homes.

The Soviet-made mortar shell that may contain 25 kilos of explosive was found at a construction site in Orczy leisure park in district 8. The bomb was defused late in the evening.
