Assistant Secretary Nuland Visits Hungary

On October 31, Ambassador Victoria Nuland made her first visit to Hungary in her capacity as the Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs. Assistant Secretary Nuland attended the Visegrad Group Ministerial at the invitation of the Government of Hungary.
She enjoyed a full schedule of productive bilateral and multilateral meetings with Foreign Minister Janos Martonyi, other Central European foreign ministers and senior European officials. Assistant Secretary Nuland also participated in a dynamic roundtable event with Hungarian civil society leaders.
