Hungary Q3 GDP Grows Unadjusted 1.8%
Hungarian economic output in the third quarter grew by an annual 1.8%, based on final unadjusted data, higher than the preliminary figure of 1.7%, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said.

Adjusted for seasonal and calendar year effects, output grew by an annual 1.6% and 0.9% quarter on quarter in the third quarter, KSH said. András Balatoni, an analyst at ING, said the data show economic growth is taking place on a much broader base than in 2010-2011.

He forecast full-year economic growth of 1.0%. Zoltán Török, chief analyst for Raiffeisen, also said the structure of growth was more balanced and “healthier”. He projected growth in gross domestic product for next year of 1.5-2.0%.
