Hungary Guest Nights Climb 4.6% In Dec

The number of guest nights in commercial accommodation in Hungary rose an annual 4.6% to 1,305,000 in December, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Monday. The increase slowed from a 7.1% rise in November.
The number of guest nights spent by foreign visitors rose 0.6% to 646,980.
The number spent by Hungarian guests climbed 8.9% to 657,561. Germans spent 64,907 guest nights at commercial accommodation, more than any other nationality.
Visitors from Italy spent 57,099 and Russian tourists spent 50,476.
