Hungary's Former PM Gyurcsány Accuses Fidesz Of Orchestrating Riots
Former prime minister Ferenc Gyurcsány claimed Monday evening that Fidesz had prepared the riots that started in September, 2006 following the leak of his “lies” speech made at Balaton szöd that summer.

Speaking at a local forum in Érd, Gyurcsány noted that excerpts released from secret service reports indicate that a recording of his speech ended up in Fidesz hands shortly before it was leaked to the media.

Fidesz executive vice president Lajos Kósa told ATV on Sunday that he and his party made several copies of the speech and did not deny that they distributed them to the media, saying “the people have a right to know if the prime minister is lying”.
