IKEA To Open New Store In Soroksár, Hungary
It looks like 2016 will be a big year for IKEA in Hungary. Not only will it be possible to order IKEA furniture online, a third store will also open its doors. After an IKEA press conference on Tuesday, it turns out that its next Hungarian store will open in two years in the XXIII district, Soroksár. According to Pénzcentrum.hu financial portal, online shopping and home delivery options will also start functioning in 2016.

Based on statistics, there was a 1% customer increase and a 2.5% sales increase at the Swedish home-furnishings company last year.

IKEA plans to keep up its good performance and increase its sales and its current 21.9% market share up to 25% by lowering prices. According to Regional Director Marek Feltl, IKEA products will be 1% cheaper this year.

Apart from building a new IKEA store in the country, it is programmed to renovate the already existing Budaörs store by further developing the child care area, doubling the restaurant surface, and rebuilding the whole upper level.
