The foundation also sends teams of corporate and business volunteers into the children’s wards of Hungarian hospitals (11 thus far) to paint “child-themed” murals. Studies have demonstrated that raising the spirits of children confined to hospital speeds their recovery. The foundation also donates needed child-specific medical equipment to Hungarian hospitals.
The theme of the 10th Anniversary Grand Gala is “Brazilian Carnival.”
The event promises to be a full and fun evening.
A three course dinner will be offered.
Exciting entertainment will feature mentalist Danny Blue and the performers of the Brazilian Cultural Centre (dancers, singers, drummers, Brazilian Capoeira acrobatics, etc.)
The Beny Perez Combo from La Bodeguita Restaurant will provide music for dancing. (Free Samba lessons for the Gala’s registered guests will be offered on the evening before the Gala by the Brazilian Cultural Centre.)
Spirited auctions and tombola prizes are planned, featuring: a round-trip flight for 2 to Rio de Janeiro from TAP Airlines, a round-trip flight for 2 to North America from Turkish Airlines, a signed and dated Rubik Cube, and much more
