More PCs Sold In Hungary Even As Global Sales Fall
Personal computer sales in Hungary rose 4.3% last year even as global sales fell 10%, business daily Világgazdaság said, citing data from market researcher IDC. Bence Bagi, an analyst for IDC Magyarország, said a big push to use up available European Union funding supported the increase.

Sales could grow slightly this year, too, as EUfunded projects continue and because of long-postponed IT upgrades in the private sector, he added.
