Csontváry Painting Goes Missing In Hungary
Two valuable paintings, the “Night Scene with a Chapel and Figures” by Tivadar Kosztka Csontváry, and “Landscape” by József Lampérth Nemes, have disappeared from the warehouse of the MODEM Modern and Contemporary Art Centre in Debrecen.

Péter Antal, the owner who loaned the works to the centre, told state news agency MTI on Thursday that they are jointly valued at over Ft 100 million.
