Russia And Hungary Sign Paks Nuclear Deal
Russia and Hungary have signed the agreement under which Russia will grant a €10 billion loan for the expansion of Paks nuclear power plant, Moscow financial newspaper Vedomosti reported on Tuesday. The report does not say when and where the agreement was signed.

Confirming that the government had signed the deal, Prime Minister’s Office leader János Lázár told reporters that the agreement will be submitted to Parliament after the elections, and that the document has been made accessible to the EU.

Opposition politicians demanded the immediate publication of the agreement before the election, as LMP’s Bernadette Szél said it is outrageous that the Hungarian public has to learn of this news from Russian media.
