Hungary's PM Orbán Meets Gazprom Chief Miller
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Gazprom President Aleksei Miller talked about speeding up the construction of the South Stream gas pipeline at a Wednesday meeting. Gazprom said in a statement that the two discussed ways of re-working the proposed route of the pipeline after Austria decided in April to join the $16 billion project.

The Hungarian section would run along 229km between Hercegszántó on the Serbian border and Tornyiszentmiklós near the Slovenian border.

Gazprom and state energy company MVM would share the estimated €600 million cost in a joint venture.
