Hungary To Join EU States In Procuring Flu Jab
Hungary will join forces with other European Union states in procuring influenza vaccinations for babies younger than a year, the daily Népszabadság reports. The ministers of the countries intending to take part in the joint procedure are expected to sign the agreement in Brussels in mid-June, the paper said.

The joint procurement procedure is expected to be advantageous for the member states, since a unified purchase is expected to drive down the price and it is more likely that the necessary vaccine will be available before an epidemic hits than were Hungary to go it alone, the paper said.
