Six decades of history accompanies The Dixieland Band along the era of popularity of Dixieland after World War II.
From its early years, the Orchestra committed itself to nurturing the Louis Armstrong and the New Orleans musical tradition.

Although the band members sometimes changed, the band founder, Sándor Benkó’s musical dedication remains unbroken to this day.

Their journey has been a myriad of interesting stories, special trips, and unique encounters. In this concert, Sándor Benkó in his inimitable performance style, remembers this long road with Armstrong’s and the band's most popular songs bringing to life this era’s lively atmosphere.
