Contemporary Art Festival On Budapest's City Park Lake
Budapest is currently hosting the 7th Art Moments Central European visual art festival in the capital's City Park, on the lake. The festival’s mission is to remove contemporary art from the conventional museum and gallery settings and bring it closer to a much wider audience, says Szabolcs Erdélyi the event organiser.

This goal is served by offering a blend of fine arts, design, music, dance, theatrical and literary programmes on an 800-sqm pier installed on the lake, he said.

The festival this year will present works by young central European contemporary artists from Hungary, the Czech Republic, Poland and Romania.

It will also feature contemporary art in the Middle East presenting a live performance by the Cap Kuwait group, as well as works brought to Hungary by the Qatar Museums Authority and prepared by artists at the Abu Dhabi Art Hub.
